Today’s Miracle Moment Is About How to Trust Your Inner Guidance In Uncertain Times…

When the world feels noisy, uncertain, and constantly changing, it’s easy to look outside yourself for answers.

Maybe you’ve noticed yourself seeking reassurance, consuming endless information, or wondering who to trust. And with so many voices telling us what to believe, what to fear, and what to do next, it’s understandable.

But what if these uncertain times are inviting us into something deeper?

What if they’re calling us home to our own wisdom?

I believe that more people than ever are experiencing a spiritual awakening—not because life has become easier, but because we’re being invited to remember who we truly are.

We May Be Living Through a Great Transformation

My beloved mentor, Dr. Jean Houston, described this period in history as “butterfly time.”

She often spoke about the stage in a caterpillar’s transformation when it begins to dissolve into what appears to be chaos. The old structure literally turns to mush before something entirely new can emerge.

Jean called this the “mush moment.”

From the outside, it can look messy. Uncertain. Even frightening.

But hidden within that process are dormant cells awakening—the cells that eventually become the butterfly.

Perhaps humanity is in one of those moments now.

And perhaps the challenges we’re experiencing individually and collectively are not signs that everything is falling apart, but signs that something greater is trying to emerge.

As Jean would often remind us:

“We came for these times.”

Why Trusting Yourself Matters More Than Ever

I’ve been a spiritual seeker for as long as I can remember.

Even as a little girl, I found myself asking questions about God, the meaning of life, and why people didn’t seem to talk about what mattered most.

Over the years, I’ve been blessed to study with extraordinary teachers from many spiritual traditions. Their wisdom has enriched my life in countless ways.

But one of the most important lessons I’ve learned is this:

Never give your power away—even to the most gifted teacher.

Spiritual mentors can illuminate the path, but they cannot walk it for you.

Ultimately, your deepest wisdom lives within.

Learning to trust your intuition and inner guidance isn’t about rejecting teachers or outside support. It’s about developing discernment and remembering that your soul has a voice too.

Here are three anchors that can help you stay connected to your truth, especially during uncertain times.

Anchor #1: Learn the Language of Your Body

Your body is constantly communicating with you.

Sometimes truth feels like goosebumps—or what I affectionately call “God bumps.”

Other times it feels like a deep exhale, a sense of peace, or an inner expansion.

And sometimes a message can challenge you while still resonating with something deeper inside.

Learning to trust your intuition begins by paying attention to these signals.

When something feels aligned, notice that.

When something consistently feels off, honor that too.

You don’t need to force yourself to believe something just because someone else says it’s true.

Give yourself permission to pause, reflect, and discover what resonates with your own inner knowing.

Anchor #2: Notice If You’re Seeking from a Place of “Not Enough”

We live in a remarkable time with access to endless books, podcasts, teachers, and spiritual tools.

But spiritual growth can quietly become another form of self-improvement.

We begin thinking:

“I’m not awakened enough.”

“I need one more course.”

“Maybe someone else has the answers I’m missing.”

The truth is, your worth isn’t waiting somewhere in the future.

Sometimes the most powerful thing you can do is stop searching for a moment.

Meditate.

Pray.

Walk in nature.

Dance.

Journal.

Sit quietly with yourself.

Practices that nourish your soul strengthen your own spiritual connection and help you hear your inner guidance more clearly.

Anchor #3: Deepen Your Trust in Life

Many people seek psychics, intuitives, or spiritual teachers because they want certainty.

Who doesn’t want someone to tell us exactly what to do and help us avoid mistakes?

But life doesn’t work that way.

No one can spare us from our soul lessons or eliminate the mystery built into being human.

And maybe that’s not a flaw.

Maybe it’s part of the beauty.

I think of Ram Dass, whose life changed dramatically after a stroke left him partially paralyzed and limited his speech.

Rather than seeing it as punishment, he called it an act of “fierce grace.”

Even through profound challenges, he continued teaching, writing, and touching lives for decades.

He understood something essential:

Life is always happening for our awakening, even when we don’t understand it in the moment.

When you trust that life has your back, you stop needing guarantees.

You become more willing to follow your intuition.

More willing to listen.

More willing to trust.

Because you know that miracles remain possible, no matter what unfolds.

The World Needs People Who Trust Their Inner Wisdom

These are extraordinary times.

And while it’s easy to become overwhelmed by fear or distracted by endless noise, this moment may also be asking something beautiful of us.

To slow down.

To listen.

To cultivate discernment.

To trust ourselves.

To remember that the deepest guidance we seek isn’t outside of us.

It’s within us.

As you strengthen your relationship with your inner wisdom, you’ll naturally begin moving through life with more peace, clarity, and trust.

And perhaps that’s how we help create a more beautiful future—not by waiting for someone else to save us, but by awakening the wisdom, compassion, and greatness that have always been waiting inside.

As Jean Houston so beautifully said:

“We came for these times.”
