What a powerful thought.

Every day, we’re given a choice: do we believe that Life is for us… or against us?

People who live miraculous lives make that decision daily. They choose to trust that even the delays and detours are part of a divine design — a grander plan working for them, not against them. That kind of trust doesn’t just feel good. It keeps you open and receptive to the miracles that are already on their way.

But when things fall apart, or when your manifestations seem stuck, it can feel almost impossible to believe the Universe truly has your back. Add to that a biological wiring that’s literally built for fear, and trusting becomes a daily spiritual practice.

This “negativity bias” was useful for our ancestors who needed to stay alert for danger. But today, it often keeps our energy in defense mode — and our miracles on pause.

When disappointment hits, we pull back. We lower expectations. We lose the motivation to take inspired action.

That’s the moment to shift into what I call Trust Mode.

Below are three “Trust Shifts” that can help you get back into flow and align with the miracles waiting to reach you.

1. Trust the Soul’s Yes (Even When Facing No)

There’s a deep wisdom inside you — your Soul’s Yes. It’s that quiet, inner knowing that lights up when something is right for you, even if the outer world hasn’t caught up yet.

Trusting your Soul’s Yes, especially when everything around you seems to say “no,” can be the difference between a dream delayed and a dream fulfilled.

A perfect example is my dear friends Jack Canfield and Mark Victor Hansen. When they first tried to publish Chicken Soup for the Soul, the manuscript was rejected 144 times. They were told it was too positive. That anthologies didn’t sell. That it just wasn’t marketable.

But Jack and Mark trusted their inner Yes. They knew, deep in their hearts, that their message was meant to reach people. And so they kept going.

If they had stopped at 100 “no’s,” the Chicken Soup series — which went on to sell over 500 million copies — would never have existed.

So when the world tells you no, and your soul says yes, remember: your inner guidance knows the way. Each “no” is simply clearing the path for your sacred “yes” to shine even brighter.

2. Trust in Divine Timing

This one is close to my heart.

For many years, I watched my friends get married, have children, and build families. I knew I didn’t want kids, but I deeply longed for a soulmate. And yet, my love life felt like a series of heartbreaks and wrong turns.

I couldn’t understand why the one thing I wanted most was taking so long.

Looking back now, I can see it so clearly: I was still growing into the woman who could receive the kind of partnership I desired. I needed that time to discover who I was and what true commitment meant to me.

And thank goodness I waited — because that patience led me to my wonderful husband, Sergio.

My mentor, the late anthropologist Angeles Arrien, used to say:

“In life, you’re right on time.”

Every experience, every moment, is perfectly timed in the larger rhythm of your life. When you trust divine timing, you stop fighting where you are and start flowing with it.

This trust brings peace — and even more importantly, it puts you in energetic harmony with your desires. When you stop trying to control the “when,” you open the channel for miracles to arrive in the perfect way, at the perfect time.

So if your dream feels delayed, take a breath. You’re not behind. You’re being aligned.

3. Trust That Rejection Is God’s Protection

This one’s a life-changer.

Trusting that rejection is God’s protection means you stop taking closed doors personally and start seeing them as sacred redirections.

Maybe you didn’t get the job you were sure was your dream opportunity. Or the relationship you poured your heart into didn’t work out. In the moment, it feels like devastation. But later — sometimes years later — you look back and think, “Thank goodness that didn’t happen.”

Because something better was waiting. Something more aligned with your growth, your purpose, and your soul’s path.

Life is always steering you toward what’s truly meant for you. You just can’t see the full map yet.

So when the door closes, don’t doubt your worth. Whisper this mantra to yourself instead:

“Everything that happens to me is for my highest good. The Universe is on my side.”

Let that truth take root in your being. Because when you start seeing life this way, miracles don’t feel far away — they start to feel inevitable.

What Happens When You Shift From Defense Mode to Miracle Mode

When you live from trust, everything changes.

• When you trust your Soul’s Yes, you stop letting other people’s “no’s” derail your dreams.
• When you trust Divine Timing, you stop fighting the flow and start aligning with it.
• When you trust that rejection is protection, you stop taking closed doors personally and start recognizing them as sacred guidance.

Your manifestation isn’t late. You’re not off track. The Universe isn’t ignoring you.

You’re in the process of becoming the person who can receive and hold what you’re calling in.

Every rejection is refining you.
Every delay is aligning you.
Every detour is redirecting you toward something more miraculous than you imagined.

So today, take a quiet moment and ask yourself:

• What inner Yes am I ready to trust, even when others doubt it?

• What timeline am I ready to release and trust in Divine Timing?

• Which closed doors have turned out to be sacred redirections in my life?

Write them down. Reflect on them. And most importantly — trust that Life is for you through it all.

Because it is. Always.

You don’t manifest miracles by controlling outcomes. You manifest them by aligning with trust.

Trust the process.
Trust the timing.
Trust the Soul’s Yes.
And trust that every twist, turn, and closed door is the Universe’s way of saying — I’ve got you.
