  • The Antidote to Anxiety Spirals

    The Antidote to Anxiety Spirals

Today’s Miracle Moment Is About The Antidote to Anxiety Spirals

People are more anxious than ever these days. A recent poll by the American Psychiatric Association found that 43% of adults say they feel more anxious than they did last year. And the American Psychiatric Association suggested that anxiety might be more rampant due to the unprecedented exposure that we all have to everything going on in the world.

I’m sure you’ve experienced having a spike in your stress levels after spending just 5 minutes on a smartphone. You could even be staying away from news, but just checking your social media feed can wreak havoc on the nervous system – whether you see people sharing about current events or get FOMO (fear of missing out) after seeing someone’s fabulous travel photos.

You can also get caught in anxiety spirals when worried about the state of the economy, the climate, or the pace that technology is evolving… Or if you’re worried about a family member’s health, or our kids’ future, or finances. The list goes on.

Whether it’s personal or it’s an issue that affects all of us, how can you break out of the anxiety spirals when you’re stuck in them?

A renowned anthropologist and a beloved mentor of mine, Angeles Arrien, had a saying that goes, “Action absorbs anxiety.” The idea is simple – by taking an action, the anxiety and despair you’re feeling about a situation is absorbed – whereas if you just sit and ruminate on a worry, the anxiety grows.

A lot of things are out of our control. By focusing on what you can do, you can shift our internal state, and make a positive and energized step forward. Now, when you’re stuck in anxiety, taking action can feel overwhelming or difficult to do. This is why it’s really important to take a small baby step.

There’s a word in Japanese called kaizen which literally translates as continual improvement.

Using Kaizen, you accomplish the most through small consistent steps, because it is the best way to overcome resistance to change.

The brain often views change with fear, so if you make gradual steps to change, you fly under your brain’s fear radar. And consistent baby steps will actually take you where you want to be farther and faster than trying to do it all.

And so the next time you find yourself stuck in an anxiety spiral, first, put your phone or device away. Put your hand on your heart, your other hand on your belly (calms the vagus nerve) and do some breathing to support your system to regulate. Watch today’s video and let’s do that together…

Try this technique to free yourself from anxiety:

    1. Put one hand on your heart and the other on your belly
    2. Breathe in to a count of 4
    3. Hold the breath lightly for a moment
    4. Exhale to a count of 8
    5. Repeat as many times as feels good to you (at least 3-5)

Now bring your attention to the thought that is most triggering the anxiety.  Maybe there are a few of them – but focus on what’s strongest. It might be a relationship challenge, or financial stress. Identify what the mind is most hooked on in this moment.

Next, brainstorm – what are some baby steps I could take to support myself in this area right now? Just brainstorm first to get yourself thinking forward. For example, if it’s a relationship challenge, maybe there’s a phone call you need to make or you can take responsibility for your part in a rupture. If you’re in anxiety about finances, look for an empowered baby step you could take, like reviewing your accounts instead of avoiding them.

You can always look to a supportive self-care action you could take – like reaching out to a friend you trust, putting on your shoes and going for a walk outside, taking a bath, or making yourself a cup of tea.

Once you get yourself thinking in terms of positive baby steps, if you still need a boost of help in that area, visualize yourself actually taking the baby step forward. Imagine yourself successfully taking that step. And then do it. Lace up those tennis shoes and walk out the door, or give the friend a call, or whatever it is. Take the baby step. That will propel you into a more supportive energy to move forward in your day.

This week, I invite you to notice if you’re stuck in an anxiety spiral, and if you are, come back to this process and take one baby step forward to absorb the anxiety.

So I’d love to hear your thoughts on what baby steps you can take to shift out of anxiety spirals – please share in the comments. And I’ll leave you with this quote by Aesop: “Little by little does the trick.”

Have a fabulous week – I send you love!

  • Shift Into Being a Miracle Thinker

Shift Into Being a Miracle Thinker

Today’s Miracle Moment Is About Shifting Into Being a Miracle Thinker

A Miracle Thinker sees life as being full of possibilities. They have the perspective that we live in a benevolent Universe, and that Life is for us, not against us. And this is so important to living in the Miracle Zone.

Now, most people are not Miracle Thinkers by default. In fact, 80% of the average person’s thoughts in a day are negative. This is because of the negativity bias that we inherited from our caveman ancestors. For them, it was more critical for survival to avoid a dangerous situation than it was for them to pursue a positive or helpful one. They had to constantly be on guard for danger, so our minds and nervous systems have been evolutionarily wired that way.

In our current day and time, we don’t have the same extreme need for the negativity bias like our ancestors had. We don’t have to go out and hunt a dangerous animal in order to feed our family – we can have our favorite restaurant deliver food to our door. And we aren’t living out in the elements – we can take hot showers and baths and wrap ourselves up in cozy blankets.

But we’re still wired to seek out the negative, and this can show up in big and small ways.

In our relationships, we can take things personally and assume the worst about someone who might just be having a bad day. In our career, we can hold back from going for our big dreams of writing a book or starting a business because our thoughts go to the worst-case scenario.

All of this stops you from living the truly miraculous life that’s available to you.

The good news is that you can shift out of the default mode and create new neural pathways in your brain to become a Miracle Thinker! One way you can do that is through consciously looking out for the good. Another way to say this, is to look for the gift in every situation.

Here are just a few of the amazing benefits of being a Miracle Thinker:

    • When you have the perspective that you live in a benevolent Universe, then you can start to see how everything that happens in your life, even the challenges, is for your greatest good and greatest benefit.
    • You trust that there are always possibilities for miracles in each moment.
    • And because what you put your attention on grows stronger in your life, the more you focus on how Life is for you, the more that becomes the reality of your day-to-day experience.

Be sure to put yourself in a quiet place and watch the video above where I guide you through a short process and visualization that will help you to shift into being a Miracle Thinker.

Afterwards, you may want to stay in this energy for a while of connecting with your Wiser Self. You may want to journal on what you received during this visualization.

This week, I invite you to practice consciously redirecting yourself to be a Miracle Thinker. Take that empowered action that your Wiser self shared with you. Know that all of this is helping you to live more in the Miracle Zone.

Please share in the comments below about your experience becoming a Miracle Thinker. I love hearing from you!

And I’ll leave you with this quote from Plato, “Reality is created by the mind. We can change our reality by changing our mind.”

May you have a beautiful week full of miracles. I send you love!

  • Trusting In Divine Timing

    Trusting In Divine Timing

Today’s Miracle Moment Is About Trusting In Divine Timing

Have you ever felt that you’re behind in life? Whether it’s in the area of career, relationships, family, or some other kind of personal achievement, do you have a nagging feeling that you’re not quite where you’re supposed to be?

Well, today, I want to share a profound and comforting concept with you, inspired by the teachings of the wonderful anthropologist and educator, Angeles Arrien, who was one of my biggest personal mentors and influences.

It’s the idea that in life, “You’re right on time.” This simple yet powerful belief can help you to embrace where you are right now in your life’s journey, giving you greater peace of mind. And this also helps you get into greater energetic alignment with the miracles that you’re calling in.

I know personally, I had this nagging feeling of being behind in life throughout my twenties and thirties when it seemed that everyone I knew was finding their match and pairing up and starting families. While I knew I didn’t want to have children, I did want to find my soulmate and life partner. But in the process of calling that in, I went through one disappointing experience after another and had a lot of heartache and tears. I just couldn’t find my guy!

I couldn’t figure out why this area of life was so stuck for me. In my early 40’s, I met my now husband, Sergio, and even then, I still had to go on a bigger journey. We got together, we went through challenges, and we broke up. It wasn’t until years later, when I gave him a call and said, “I think there’s something here and we should try this again.” We did, and we’ve now been together for 25 years.

When I look back at my journey of romantic relationships, I can see that in all of those years, I was still growing into the woman I needed to be. Even though a part of me felt really ready for my soul mate, I didn’t realize that I needed the time it took to be ready to fully commit to a life partner. So now, when I look back, I’m so grateful for the lessons learned, not to mention that I’m grateful it didn’t work out with any of those other guys and that I ended up with Sergio.

Angeles Arrien taught that every experience, every moment, is divinely timed, and the most powerful thing we can do is to trust the timing of our lives and believe that we’re always right where we need to be.

In whatever area of life you feel behind in, what if everything is happening exactly according to schedule? What if you’re learning the lessons you need to, you’re becoming who you need to be, and life is directing your path to what’s truly right for you?

When you take on this perspective, you can release the anxiousness and the habit of comparing yourself to others. And this also puts you in a better energy for manifesting. You’re able to take actions forward with greater ease and be a stronger energetic match for higher vibration miracles you’re calling in.

Angeles Arrien also said, “Be open to outcome, not attached to outcome.” When we understand that we’re right on time, we open ourselves to more joy, more acceptance, and an incredible sense of peace.

Now, let’s take this idea of trusting your divine timing from the mental or emotional place to really feeling it in the body.

In today’s video, I take you through a short process called the Inner Ease Technique, and this is adapted from Gregg Braden.

So if there’s any remaining concern or worry about where you are with an area of life, this meditation is going to help you to come into greater coherence and harmony. From this place of coherence, it’s easier to trust in the universe and trust in your divine timing.

I want to end this Miracle Moment with a wonderful quote from Lao Tzu who said “Nature does not hurry, yet everyting is accomplished.

Here’s to saying yes to life and yes to the miraculous gift of divine timing. I’d love to hear from you! What is your experience with recognizing the flow of divine timing in your life? I wish you great joy in knowing that you’re right on time and that the Universe is always working in your favor.

Please share with us below what your experience is with trusting in divine timing.

  • The Miraculous Power of Receiving

    The Miraculous Power of Receiving

Today’s Miracle Moment Is About The Miraculous Power of Receiving

It’s absolutely fabulous to receive: whether it’s love, financial prosperity, kindness, appreciation or gifts, each can be a wonderful blessing to our lives. Having the power to receive means we have the ability to fill up and enjoy greater love, connection and prosperity.

However, many of us grew up hearing the message that it’s better to give than to receive. While it’s incredibly rewarding to give, it’s possible we’ve overlooked the hidden downsides of prioritizing giving over receiving. We may have unknowingly created blocks to our ability to receive based on a perception that it’s somehow selfish or wrong.

Far too many people end up depleted, exhausted, and unfulfilled without realizing they haven’t learned how to fill themselves up. They haven’t learned to receive and this pushes away the abundant gifts that come flowing in from living in the Miracle Zone.

If that feels familiar, you’re in the right place! In this Miracle Moment I’ll share a wonderful process you can try to practice joyful receiving.

Now, it’s surprisingly common for folks to feel uncomfortable receiving. For instance, do you silently squirm inside when someone offers a kind word or a present—or do you allow yourself to deeply receive the gift of kindness, caring, and connection?

Here are some reason you might feel uncomfortable receiving:

    • Distancing Intimacy: When we fear intimacy we may disallow ourselves from receiving a gift or compliment, thereby depriving ourselves of opening up to a deeper connection.
    • Fear of Vulnerability: Receiving invites us to welcome a vulnerable part of ourselves. Can we allow ourselves to surrender to the good feeling of receiving a gift?
    • Feeling Selfish: Through family, society, or religion you may have come to believe that it’s selfish to receive. We may have lost touch with our inherent worthiness and the right to relish in life’s pleasures. We might have forgotten that when we receive with gratitude and delight, we are gifting the giver; who’s true desire is to bring us joy.
    • A Feeling of Guilt or Pressure to Reciprocate: Some people have difficulty receiving because they believe they’ll then be indebted to the giver. We reject a gift to defend against a self-imposed obligation to reciprocate. If this is you, see if you can release yourself from your expectation to reciprocate and instead, simply receive. Rather than projecting into the future about what comes next, allow yourself to enjoy the present moment and greet the generosity with true appreciation.

There are many ways we can block ourselves off from the pleasure of receiving. That’s why it’s important to bring awareness to these areas so we can begin to soften them and expand our hearts into joyful receptivity.

So here’s an exercise that I invite you to try out to practice joyful receiving…

    1. Become Aware: The next time someone offers you a compliment, a present, or looks lovingly into your eyes, notice how you feel inside. What’s happening in your body? Is your breathing relaxed and your belly soft or are you tensing up?
    2. Open Your Heart: Breathe into your heart and see if you can soften into a place of allowing. Can you simply be with any sense of caring and connection you feel in your heart?
    3. Remain Present: Bringing awareness to the pleasant and delightful experience of receiving might allow you to be more present in that moment. Allow yourself to stay in your heart instead of your head.
    4. Offer Gratitude: See if you can respond with genuine gratitude as you deeply receive the gift. Remember your appreciation is a gift you can share with the giver.

Learning to receive is a healthy step in experiencing a fullness and richness in life. It’s a confirmation of your own worthiness and a deepening of self-love that leads to a higher vibration in the Miracle Zone.

I want to end this Miracle Moment with a wonderful quote from Ralph Waldo Emerson who said “Sometimes we receive the power to say yes to life. Then peace enters us and makes us whole.

Here’s to saying yes to life and yes to the miraculous power of receiving. I’d love to hear from you! What is your experience with receiving gifts? How might you shift yourself into receiving with more joy? I wish you many moments of relishing in the gifts of life and experiencing all of the abundance that the Miracle Zone has to offer.

Please share with us below what your experience is with playing with joyful receiving.

  • Miracle Moment: Your Morning Routine for Miracles

Miracle Moment: Your Morning Routine for Miracles

Today’s Miracle Moment is about your Morning Routine for Miracles…

Having a morning routine is a great way to ground yourself for the day ahead. Research shows that willpower is highest in the morning, so it’s a great time to do the practices that will support you.

Ancient yogic sages have always known about the power of mornings. They saw the mornings as an auspicious spiritually charged time and would use the sacred energies of the morning to devote to practices like meditation or prayer.

In our modern times, well-known influential people swear by morning routines too. Richard Branson gets up at 5 am to exercise and spend time with his family before starting the day.  Gwenyth Paltrow gets up by 6:30 am and meditates first and then works out.

Even if all you have is 5 or 10 minutes on some days, you can still soak in the magic of this sacred time of the day and establish a morning routine to set your day up for miracles.

Here are some rituals that can help set you up for a day full of miracles big and small…

    1. Get a good night’s sleep – The first part of your morning routine actually starts the night before with getting restful sleep! Sleep is our body’s built-in healer, and it’s how our bodies restore, replenish, and recharge.

We need both the right quantity AND quality of sleep to feel well-rested, energized and focused the next day. And, it certainly helps us to want to get out of bed and start the day.

To improve your quality of sleep, you can go to sleep at the “magical hour,” which is 10:00 pm. According to Ayurvedic medicine, there are three cycles that occur twice in every 24-hour period–Vata, Pitta and Kapha. At 10:00 pm, we move into the Pitta cycle (from 10:00 pm – 2:00 am), and that’s the most important time for your body to recharge. An hour of sleep that you get before midnight is worth twice as much as the sleep that you get after midnight.

For a better quality of sleep, you can also stay away from TV screens for at least an hour or two before sleep. You can also take an epsom salt bath, and drink sleepy time tea or have calms forte or magnesium.

Try an experiment: For 3 nights in a row, go to bed at 10:00 pm and see how you feel on the 4th morning.

    2. Spend time in gratitude first thing in the morning – When you wake up, one of the first things you can do in the morning is to spend some time in gratitude. What you put your attention on grows stronger in your life. When you start noticing all the miracles you’re already experiencing, big and small, you’ll experience even more.

This is extra powerful if it’s in an area that you might be struggling in or it’s an area that you’re calling miracles in for. So if you’re having a challenge in a relationship, think of 10 things you’re grateful for in your relationships. If you’re calling in more financial abundance, spend time in gratitude appreciating 10 ways you have abundance in your life, even if right now, you’re focusing on things like: I have food in the fridge to eat. I have clean water. I have internet access to watch inspiring videos!

By focusing on the good, you’re going to support even more good in those areas to grow.

    3. Connect with the Divine in any way that feels meaningful to you – This could be meditation, prayer, or chanting, etc. As Mother Teresa said, “God speaks in the silence of the heart.”

We all need some silence away from the rhythm of daily life that helps us plug in to our inner peace and inner connectedness.

Find what brings silence to your heart. It could be chanting, or music, but it brings you to the silence of your heart.

    4. Set some specific intentions for your day – Your intentions could be a specific feeling you want to experience like: I feel so energized, focused and creative today. Or, you might have a few specific goals you want to accomplish. Write those down, and then spend a few minutes visualizing yourself achieving those successfully.

See yourself going through the day feeling the way you want to feel while accomplishing the specific goals you have for your day!

All of these practices only take a few minutes, but can make a huge difference and help you to experience more miracles! Let us know in the comments what you’ll try for your Morning Routine for Miracles, or what already works for you.

    Morning Routine for Miracles

May you have magical mornings that set the stage for miraculous days.

  • Miracle Moment: Small But Mighty Difference

Miracle Moment: Small But Mighty Difference

Today’s Miracle Moment is About How You Can Make a Small But Mighty Difference Today.

    Let’s start with a short story…

One day, a woman was riding a bus. She’d just gotten herself a wonderful fresh bouquet of flowers and she was really enjoying their beauty and scent. She looked over to the row in front of her across the aisle, and saw a man who looked lonely and sad. She looked at him, and then looked at her flowers, and she felt inspired to give him her fresh bouquet of flowers.

She walked over and handed them to him, and he was so surprised that he was brought to tears. He said to her, “You don’t know how much this means to me. My wife just passed away, and I’m on my way to visit her at her grave. I’m going to be able to give these to her today.”

One of the greatest, deepest joys in life comes from making an impact and making a contribution. However, we can often look at the world around us and think, “What could I possibly do to change anything? There is so much that needs to be done!” Or you might have so much on your shoulders with life, like paying the bills, that you don’t have the energy to think about making a difference. As this story shows, it’s not about saving the entire world…

There’s huge power in making a difference in just one person’s life. This can be a huge boost of happiness and inspiration for you, too.

The woman in this story allowed love to matter first.

Love is the highest frequency on the planet, and it’s the highest frequency we can tap into while still being in the body.

The first vibration that the Unified Field generates is love. The more we are loving, the closer we are to the miraculous and to the infinite possibilities that are available to anyone at any time.

When we do small acts of kindness, we bring more love into the space we’re in. Love unifies us with the highest vibration of the people that you’re engaging with directly. And not only that…

Quantum science shows us that when you do an unexpected loving act, it positively impacts someone on the other side of the planet too.

They’ll find it easier to forgive a family member, or to let go of a heartbreak.

The most significant thing to all of us is love, so let’s find a way to make that into an action.

This week, we invite you to bring more miracles into your life by making a small but mighty difference in the life of someone you encounter. Maybe you acknowledge the grocery store clerk for how their friendliness brightens your day, or buy a cup of coffee for the next person in line at a coffee shop, or give a call to an elderly family member out of the blue.

Let us know in the comments what you’ll do to create a small but mighty miracle for someone you meet.

  • Miracle Moment: Stopping the Overthinking Cycle

Miracle Moment: Stopping the Overthinking Cycle

Today’s Miracle Moment is About Stopping the Overthinking Cycle.

We all get in the overthinking cycle from time to time. We might overthink small decisions, like what to order for dinner at a restaurant. Or we might overthink important decisions for years on end. Maybe there’s a business you’ve wanted to launch, but you keep overthinking the first steps to take to get started. Maybe you’ve held back on taking a class that really calls to you. Maybe you overthink how ready you need to be to put yourself out there socially.

Overthinking can block you from taking action that can lead to seeing your miracles come to life.

We are co-creators with the universe. If we’re not taking action, then we aren’t doing our part.

To stop the overthinking cycle, first we need to realize that the mind is trying to complete itself. Because the mind is trying to complete the experience it’s happening, it reaches into the future and imagines possible scenarios.

To stop that process instantly, come back to right here, right now.

Interrupt the process of thinking about the future and come back onto the self by taking a deep and slow breath into the belly.

When you breathe into the belly, it draws oxygen into the lower lobes of the lungs where more blood vessels are. That helps oxygenate the blood faster and slows down the thinking mind.

A deep belly breath also activates the part of the nervous system that calms you down and is where creative thinking lies.

When you slow your breath, you slow your mind and have access to deeper wisdom.

By slowly breathing deeply into the belly, your thinking slows down and wisdom can rise. When wisdom rises, thinking is no longer necessary. The wisdom that rises gives the mind instructions about what to do.

The mind is designed to serve the Soul. When we begin activating our own Soulful presence, the mind can get in service, and this stops the cycle of overthinking.

This week, we invite you to try this practice of taking deep slow breaths into the belly to stop the overthinking process. Let us know how it goes as you try this. Does it help to slow down your mind and stop the overthinking cycle? Share in the comments!

We look forward to hearing from you. Have a wonderful week!

  • Miracle Moment: 3 Signs that Miracles Are On Their Way

Miracle Moment: 3 Signs that Miracles Are On Their Way

Today’s Miracle Moment is About 3 Signs that Miracles Are On Their Way.

In Your Year of Miracles, we share that you can’t create miracles because miracles are a gift from the Divine. But you can create the conditions in your life for miracles to occur. So let’s look at three signs to know that miracles are on their way…

The first sign is that the desire is there for miracles. The desire is there for miracles because they’re meant for you.

The soul desires to be here in order to experience life in full spectrum, and miracles are a part of that. We’re made of divinity itself. When we recognize that, we allow miracles to occur.

The second sign that miracles are on their way is that things are falling apart.

Now we know that might not seem like a sign of a miracle, but stay with us!

The Universe is always working for us—not against us. If we’re not living in alignment with our highest good, the things that may not be right for us will tend to fall apart or fall away. It could be a relationship, a job, a living situation, or sometimes even a health issue. If that’s happening, know that things have to break down in order to get rebuilt. There may be a wake-up call happening about an area of life that may need more alignment so that you start to make the changes and get on the path that completely feels right for you. This is that place we call living in the Miracle Zone.

The third sign that miracles are on their way is that you’re opening to them.

You’re actively taking a step toward opening to miracles and experiencing life in a whole new way.

Life is a co-creation with the universe. When you take steps forward, the universe meets you.

By beginning to take baby steps towards your miracles, you’re creating the pathway for miracles to occur.

The world that you’re walking around in is a reflection of your own consciousness. When you allow your consciousness to perceive that miracles could happen for you, it allows miracles to reflect back to you what they look like, how they feel, and how they come out of nowhere.

This week, we invite you to look for the proof in your life that miracles are on their way to you.

Which of these three signs resonated with you most? Share with us in the comments.

  • Miracle Moment: How to Get Your Groove Back

Miracle Moment: How to Get Your Groove Back

Today’s Miracle Moment is About How to Get Your Groove Back.

Do you ever feel like you’ve lost your groove — that juiciness for life? When was the last time you felt that inspired, creative, tapped-in and turned-on feeling? Maybe it’s been a while!

With the intensity of our world these days and all that we’ve been through collectively over the past few years, it’s totally normal to feel like you’ve lost your groove. When you add to it the stress of worldwide events, climate change, or inflation, it’s enough to make you go: What groove?!

Even with all the stresses of our world today, you can absolutely get your groove back, and it can be better than ever.

We’re not just talking about going to an exotic island and having an adventure or having an exciting love affair like Stella did in the movie Stella Got Her Groove Back…

We’re talking about experiencing a lasting change in how you feel — and that starts as an inside job.

We’re on the planet at a magnificent time. Your soul came here to feel contraction and expansion and to discover who you truly are.

High vibrational energies are available to each of us anytime, and all we have to do is open up to them.

When you feel energies that make you feel low, stuck, lethargic, or uninspired, that’s because you’re drawing your energy from your head and the outside world. What you can do instead is to bring all of your energy back onto yourself.

Here is a breathing technique that will help you to reconnect and find your center.

    1. Drop all of your energy into your belly and start breathing from there, feeling your connection with the earth.
    2. Take a deep breath into your belly and keep inhaling until you breathe the energy up into the upper lobes of your lungs.
    3. Keep inhaling and imagining that you’re bigger than your body.
    4. Then exhale your energy out in every direction: in front of you, behind you, above you, and below you.
    5. Take a breath into your belly from every direction. Then, exhale in every direction.

Repeat this exercise a few times and then exhale, breathing deep into the earth.

When you do this exercise, you’ll begin to experience yourself as a bigger energy than your physical body. When you do that, you can get in touch with a version of yourself that’s inspired, illuminated, and a higher vibrational frequency than the version of yourself that’s living in your head.

To get your groove back, you need to be grounded in your body and remember how amazing and beautiful this life is.

What a beautiful opportunity we have to live fully in any way we choose!

This week, return to this breathing exercise any time you need to “get your groove back” and notice any shifts in how you feel. As we say in Your Year of Miracles, what you put your attention on grows stronger in your life. Focus on one shift at a time, and you’re on your way to more miracles.

We’d love to hear from you! In the comments below, share with us how you feel after doing this exercise to get your groove back.

    The Thanksgiving Miracle Feast

    [et_pb_section admin_label=”section”]
    [et_pb_row admin_label=”row”]
    [et_pb_column type=”4_4″][et_pb_text admin_label=”Text”]

    Welcome to today’s Miracle Moment.

In the United States, Thanksgiving will be here very soon; in Canada, you celebrated last month. But wherever you are in the world, every day is a great day for Thanksgiving. And, it’s really great that we actually have one day of the year where we turn our primary focus to thankfulness and gratitude.

Thanksgiving is a vibrational frequency as well. Vibrationally speaking, the Universe operates in a complete celebration, and when we’re in a state of gratitude and praise, we’re resonating at the frequency of the universe. This is a beautiful time of the year when we’re in a collective state of gratitude. A large group of people zero in on that specific vibrational frequency.

Here’s a wonderful appreciation process that we want to share with you called The Appreciation Feast.

I (Marci) have been doing this with my family at Thanksgiving for 20 years. On Thanksgiving, we feast on a lot of food, but it’s this feast that has made my recent Thanksgivings awesome.

We go around the table and appreciate one thing about each person at the table. The first year we did this, we started with my Mom. I said, “Mom, something I appreciate about you is how generous you are.” Then the next person said they appreciated how funny she was. By the end of the appreciations, she was in tears. Then we moved to the next person.

To do this, you go around the entire table one person at a time until each person is appreciated by everyone. This is such a feast!

This year, if you’re not able to get together in person, you can do an Appreciation Feast via Skype or a free Zoom account.

If you want to capture this, remember to record it via video. I promise when those people are gone, you’re going to treasure that video!

One little tip…the first year we did our appreciation feast before the meal, while the meal was getting cold. So, we suggest you do your appreciation feast after the meal and before dessert instead.

This is a sure way to have a most heart-opening experience of Thanksgiving.

I (Marci) want to start the Appreciation Feast early this year by expressing my appreciation for Sue and Lisa — my dear friends and co-teachers in Your Year of Miracles:

“Sue, something I love and appreciate about you is that you are one of the most extraordinary light beings on the planet. You are truly living in the Miracle Zone. You are the embodiment of what it is we teach in Your Year of Miracles. Being around you, I catch it. I love and honor how you are committed to living your life in the Miracle Zone.

“Lisa, you are a living and breathing miracle yourself. I’m so grateful for the energy, brightness, and vitality you radiate. You’re an absolute gift in my life and in the lives of each and every person in Your Year of Miracles. Thank you for the incredible impact you make in the world by being who you are and sharing the wisdom from your soul.”

And we, Sue and Lisa, want to express our appreciation for you:

“Marci, we so appreciate that you are always looking to the light, to the bright, and you’re seeing that in people and pulling it out. You’re always opening doors and being a wayshower. You show up to people in such a beautiful and amazing way. You see what people can do and become and you inspire them towards their best life.  It is  beautiful when brilliance meets such an uplifting disposition. We so appreciate being in your sphere of engagement—it has changed our lives.”

How did that expression of appreciation feel for you? Just being in an energy of gratitude and appreciation and the energy of Thanksgiving generally feels really good for everybody.

AND, we want you to know that we truly appreciate you! We appreciate you for connecting with us and with our miraculous community—the more the merrier! The more that we can appreciate life together and have a commitment to goodness together, the better life becomes.

Our invitation to you is to spend not just Thanksgiving day, but spend the entire week in a feeling of gratitude and appreciation for life.

We end this Thanksgiving Miracle Moment with a quote by Meister Eckhart, a 13th century mystic who said…

“If the only prayer you ever say in your entire life is ‘thank you,’ it will be enough.”

Thank you for your beautiful heart and soul!

Please share your experience of the Appreciation Feast in the comments section below and on our Facebook page. We love hearing from you!
