Today’s Miracle Moment Is About What to Do If Your Manifestation Hasn’t Shown Up Yet…

You’ve been visualizing. You’ve been affirming. Maybe you’ve made a vision board, read all the manifestation books, and even taken action steps toward your dream.

But…it’s still not here.

And you might be wondering: Is my manifestation ever going to happen for me?

Here’s the truth: your manifestation isn’t stuck—it’s developing.

And the two words that can unlock everything for you? Let go.

Why “Trying Harder” Doesn’t Work

We’ve been taught to treat manifestation like a vending machine. Insert the right mix of thoughts, affirmations, and actions, press the button, and—poof!—our dream should appear instantly.

But manifestation works less like a vending machine and more like a river.

The water already knows how to flow, but if you try to control every bend, you create dams and blockages. When we grip too tightly—obsessed with how and when it must arrive—we strangle the very flow we’re asking for.

Your manifestation may be germinating beneath the surface right now. But if you’re suffocating it with anxiety or desperation, it can’t break through.

The Power of Surrender: My Mother Mary Miracle

When my book Happy for No Reason was about to launch, I was filled with hopes and dreams for its impact. I wanted it to reach people, change lives, and make a difference.

But I noticed myself attaching to specific outcomes—certain sales numbers, glowing reviews, particular opportunities. I could feel myself gripping too tightly.

So I handed it over…to Mother Mary.

I’m not Catholic, but I turn to her as a trusted guide. I wrote her a letter, pouring out all my intentions—including my dream for the book to become a New York Times bestseller. At the end, I wrote:

“From my limited perspective, this is what I think I want. I ask for this or something even better. So be it, amen, in trust, love, and gratitude.”

Then I let go.

I kept taking aligned action—but without the pressure, without the obsession. And what happened? Not only did the book become a New York Times bestseller, but doors opened I hadn’t even thought to ask for—like hosting a TV show about happiness and narrating a movie. To this day, over 15 years later, the book continues to impact people worldwide.

That’s the miracle of letting go. When we release our grip, life can surprise us with even better than what we imagined.

Why Letting Go Makes Space

Sometimes your manifestation hasn’t arrived yet because there’s simply no room for it.

If your hands are already full, how can they receive what’s trying to come in?

Letting go isn’t giving up. It’s making space.

It’s saying, “Universe, I’m open. Guide me. Surprise me.”

Because here’s the truth: you’re not the general manager of the Universe. You don’t ultimately know what’s best for your highest good. Letting go opens the channel for divine timing, synchronicity, and guidance that are always working in your favor.

A Simple Letting-Go Process

Let’s try this together:

  1. Close your eyes, hand on your heart.
  2. Bring to mind the manifestation that matters most to you.
  3. Feel what it would be like to have it fully in your life—joy, peace, security, freedom.
  4. Now say: “Dear Universe [or your trusted guide], I am calling in this manifestation of [state your desire]. I ask for guidance on each step that’s mine to take. Connect me with the right people. Lead me to synchronicities. I open to this miracle, or something even better. So be it.”
  5. Imagine releasing your desire into the hands of the Universe, while walking forward embodying the feelings of your miracle—joy, peace, love, abundance. Those feelings become your magnet.

Trust the Seed

Your manifestation is like a seed. You don’t dig it up every day to check on it—that would kill it. Instead, you nurture it with faith, patience, and care, trusting the intelligence already inside.

The Universe isn’t testing you. It’s perfecting what’s meant for you.

Your manifestation isn’t late. It’s right on time.

Closing Inspiration

So today, ask yourself:

  • What am I gripping too tightly?
  • What outcome am I ready to release into higher hands?

Remember—letting go isn’t letting go of the dream. It’s letting go of the anxiety, the timeline, and the need to control the how.

Because when your hands are open, your miracle can finally land.
